Having rebuilt the engine some weeks ago, run it in for a few 100 miles, we completed a fantastic job on protecting the underside and a new, flexible, low profile exhaust system. I went to collect the car yesterday feeling very confident. Collected all the outstanding spares and ran through the maintenance schedule. The car looked and sounded perfect. I got 6 miles before grinding the a halt! 6 MILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Back to the garage, Roy ashen and me trying my hardest not to start to panic/ get cross. Engine in pieces once again – still haven’t heard what the problem is.
All is not well and we have so little time. I might be air shipping it!
