Crossing the Bosporus

A fabulous sunny day after four days of rain and an easy 345 kms as we finally hit Europe. We crossed the Bosporus at lunchtime and would have blown our horn in delight if we had one to blow. Now we are in Europe we need to have working lights, wipers, number plates, indicators and horns none of which we have.I wonder how quickly our remaining cash will get used up in fines.Istanbul will have to wait for another time as we had work to do on the car on arrival at Silivri . Ham has definitely lost weight and looks positively ten years younger. Tomorrow we drive to the Greek border and can't wait to see what gifts they have for us. No other excitements and I am off for a Turkish haircut.
